Police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition in Gurez valley near the Line of Control (LoC) in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official said that Army’s 36 RR and local police recovered huge arms and ammunition in Baktore sector near LoC on Tuesday.
The cache included two AK 47 rifles, six magazine, 2272 rounds, two pistols, four magazines, four grenades, a radio set, six batteries and a binocular, he said, that cash was also recovered from the site, which included Rs 7500 Pakistani currency and 1 Lakh Indian currency.
