Says we are not against their return
Terming the resolutions passed by the government for return of Kashmiri migrants as ‘incomplete, Hurriyat (G) on Thursday said that the resolution will be completed only after all the migrants will be returned to Valley.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar said, “The resolution passed by the government today in incomplete until and unless the 15 Lakh Kashmiris who were forced to migrate from valley in the year 1947, 1965 and 1971 will be called back to Kashmir.”
He said, “15 lakh people in the mentioned years were forced to migrate from valley and are currently residing in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.”
Akbar said that they are not against the return of Kashmiri Pandits to Valley but all those who have been forced to migrate should also be called back. (KNS)
