Hyderabad: Truflo by Hindware, the fastest growing plastic pipes and fittings brand in India, on Tuesday announced the manufacturing of Overhead Water Storage Tanks from its state-of-the-art facility in Telangana to cater to the Southern market. The water storage solutions are being produced with an initial capacity of 45 lakh litres per month and this will expand as the brand forays deeper into the markets, Rajesh Pajnoo, CEO, Truflo Pipes said at a press event here. The manufacturing facility will be catering to complete Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Northern Karnataka, certain parts of Maharashtra such as Nagpur, Sholapur, Akola, Nanded and surrounding regions, he said. The overhead water storage tanks are manufactured with food grade compliant LLDPE material and through Silver Ion (Germ Guard) powered anti-bacterial treatment which helps build resistance to microbial growth and retains the water safety levels for longer periods, he said the variants will additionally be UV Protected and free from heavy metals. Pajnoo said the new overhead water tank storage solutions – Dura and Dura Cool come with a five-year warranty and are available from 500 litres to 5,000 litres in multiple colours to cater to the varied market demands, he informed. While the Dura variant offers three layered tanks with an assurance of safety and durability, the Dura Cool variant consists of four layers that provide premium quality insulation that ensures water temperature is relatively cooler, making it an ideal choice for household and industrial applications. The CEO said our products are manufactured strictly in accordance with industry standards. Having successfully launched in the Northern market, we are successfully positioned to cater to the needs of our consumers in the southern market. Largely dominated by unorganised players, the water tanks market is expected to grow at a steady rate of 10 per cent over the next few years in India. Multiple factors including the increased focus on construction in recent years, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets along with the growing need to improve the existing water infrastructure are seen as the top growth drivers, he said. The company’s state of the art plumbing manufacturing plant is a fully automated facility compliant with the IGBC and GreenCo norms and is a Platinum certified green building by IGBC.
