Srinagar: A residential building was damaged in a fire incident in Rajbagh area of Srinagar city.
Locals told Kashmir News Trust that flames started emanating from the top floor of the building housing many offices this afternoon.
They said that the owner had given the building on rent and many people including a newspaper editor were operating their offices from the said building.
The said building located near Abdullah Bridge was damaged in the incident while a man sustained burn injuries and was shifted to hospital.
Firefighters finally were managed to douse the fire. Locals said that property worth lakhs were destroyed in the conflagration. (KNT)
