Strike to continue till a written assurance from the Govt: JKL Clerical Association
Srinagar, Apr 26: Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Clerical Association has threatened to continue strike till government extends a written assurance on pressing demands including pay anomaly.
President Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Clerical Association Ali Mohammad said that the strike will continue till the government gives a written assurance on acceptance of all demands including pay anomaly.
Minister for Finance Syed Altaf Bukhari when contacted said “we appeal the striking clerks to immediately call off the strike and resume their duties. We assure that a written order on acceptance of their pressing demands will be issued tomorrow.” (KNS)
