Former US president Barack Obama has rejected the impression that Pakistani government was aware of Al-Qaeda chief, Osama bin Laden’s presence in Abbottabad, reports said on Friday.
When asked during an interview whether Islamabad was aware of Bin Laden’s presence in Pakistan, Obama said the United States has no evidence in this regard.
The US accused the Al-Qaeda chief of perpetrating 9/11 attacks on New York that killed over 3000 people.
Obama is in India to participate in an even organised by the Hindustan Times.
