The group already visited Kashmir and Jammu.
Congress Policy Planning group constituted under the leadership of Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is undertaking four day visit of State from 10th to 13th next month, “this time the group will be led by Former Union Home Minister and Senior Congress Leader P. Chidambaram.”
Earlier, the Group had visited Jammu on 10th and 11th and Srinagar on 16th and 17th of September and held interactions with dozens of Groups both political and Social, Trade Bodies, Business Community and various other social and political organizations both in Jammu and Kashmir provinces to take stock of the prevailing situation in order to restore confidence among the people, but the Ladakh visit of the Group had not been finalized that time.
This time the group will visit Kargil and Leh also to hold interactions with various groups, political and social organizations including trade bodies to take stock of the overall socio-political scenario obtaining the State.
This was disclosed by J&K Pradesh Congress Committee President G.A. Mir, who is currently in Delhi in connection with the PPG Meeting held yesterday in Delhi. (KNS)
