Supporting the ‘Budgam Chalo’ call forwarded by joint resistance leadership, senior Hurriyat leader and president Anjuman Shari Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi has appealed people to offer Friday congregational prayers collectively in Budgam on 14 April.
Castigating authorities for killing innocent people on polling day, Aga Syed Hasan in a statement issue said that to increase the voting percentage by ‘illegal means’, the government has ordered re-polling in some areas.
He said, “It is shameful that authorities indulge in bloodshed to achieve their means.”
“I appeal people to offer Friday congregational prayers at Behshat-e-Zehra Park in Budgam on 14 April to expose the real face and election drama of India in Kashmir. All the Hurriyat leaders will offer Friday prayers at Behshat-e-Zehra Park. It will be a tribute to the martyrs who fall to the bullets of occupied forces,” he said.
Meanwhile, the spokesman added shortly after the culmination of Friday congregational prayers, Aga Syed Hasan will visit martyrs families to expresses solidarity with the bereaved families.
