Chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Yasin Malik has been today shifted back to central jail Srinagar from SKIMS. He had been admitted to SKIMS Soura on 22nd of October 2016 after his right arm swelled because of some CT scan procedural injection failure. The injection failure had caused a severe infection and swelling in his arm and because of that he suffered from high fevers for many days.
Though he is still on high antibiotics and problems regarding kidney stones and varying INR levels is there, but swelling in his arm has considerably lessened and fever also is in control from last two days. Today morning JKLF chairman was discharged from SKIMS hospital with a recommendation from doctors that he should be regularly brought to hospital for various medical checkups regarding his ailments.
After discharge from hospital police shifted him back to Srinagar central jail. It is worth to mention that JKLF chairman was arrested by police on 8th July 2016. Even at the time of arrest he was taking high antibiotics but instead of providing him a healthy environment, authorities revengefully placed him in solitary confinement with virtually no medical facilities available. On 30th July 2016 he was shifted to central jail Srinagar and ban on his visitors remained unchanged and so did the denial of proper medical care to him. On 30th august 2016 Yasin Malik was shifted to JIC Humhama but his disconnection from the rest of the world continued. From JIC Yasin Malik was shifted to Humhama police mess but on 19th September 2016 he was again shifted to JIC humhama and placed under solitary confinement in a cell.
