Burning schools have become a great concern for the people and students of the valley, it is the high time to raise voice against these incidents of burning of educational institutions that are the mosques of students but unfortunately these mosques are being burnt by some vested people of interests who don’t know the value of such pious structures. Kashmir without schools cannot get freedom or plebiscite, this is taking us in reverse gear back to darkness. Even in war zones where war is going on in middle east, such episodes don’t happen or take place, in such war conflict areas, schools perform their job well, and teachers teach students at nights and in underground bunkers that are used to teach, and here in Kashmir from last 115 days, schools are shutdown from last more than three months, no studies, no classes, no knowledge, no guidance, no education, can this be called a struggle for freedom.
Why don’t the civil societies raise their voice against this menace of burning schools or take to streets to stop such incidents in future, it is a blotch to our character and discipline, it is loss of our assets, how much time it will take to rebuild these institutions, if thought we aren’t burning schools we are burning the Quran. Abstain from this as soon as possible or be ready to face the curse of Allah.
Separatists also are not taking serious note of this, even police hasn’t arrested the culprits involved in this offense, such criminal elements must not be speared, at any cost, must be booked under law.
If this continues then, it is not far away, when illiteracy will rule the intellectuals, and educationalists, a very shameless future, and Kashmir will become the place of nomads and lunatic persons.
