Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) today condemned the ongoing spree of arrests and other oppressive measures by police and other Indian forces throughout Jammu Kashmir.
The party said JKLF district president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya) who has been arrested by police last night and is languishing in Ganderbal police station and also the arrest of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir district organizer Kupwara who immediately after arrest has been slapped with PSA and shifted to Kotbalwal jail.
JKLF said the way rulers and their authorities are arresting people and slapping black laws like PSA on them is a glaring example of Jammu and Kashmir being a police state ruled by black laws and oppression.
While condemning the continuous incarceration of JKLF ailing chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik who has been kept in solitary confinement at Humhama, JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal and JKLF activists Fayaz Ahmad Mir from Ganderbal and Shabir Ahmad Ganaie of Kakapora Pulwama who after slapping PSA have been shifted to Jammu.
