For the first since July 09, 2016, markets opened in Kashmir during day on Sunday afternoon.
Similarly, in summer capital Srinagar, markets in and around Lal Chowk, opened this afternoon.
Reports said that markets opened in towns and villages while a massive traffic jam was also reported in-and-around Srinagar city.
Notably, the Hurriyat leadership has been issuing protest calendars since the killing of Burhan.
Meanwhile, all shops and business establishments opened at 2 pm on Sunday on the call of the resistance leadership in Srinagar.
According to the calendar issued by Hurriyat Conference leadership, there was relaxation in shutdown from 2 PM on Sunday.
At sharp 2pm, the shops and other business establishments pulled up their shutters in Lal Chowk and other parts of civil lines areas resulting in rush in the area.
Kashmir observed complete shutdown today for the straight 79th day.
