Government forces on Sunday foiled an Ittehad-i-Milat conference in Qazipora village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district by imposing strict restrictions in the village.
Witnesses said that huge contingents of CRPF and police were deployed near Eidgah Qazipora where proposed conference was to be held.
Forces were also deployed in every nook and corner of the village to prevent people from coming out and assemble in the Eidgah for the proposed conference.
Sources said that several religious and resistance leaders were supposed to address the conference.
