Karra told that he has sent a hard copy of his resignation to the Lok Sabha Speaker today.
Member Parliament Tariq Hameed Karra who had recently announced to quit the Lok Sabha and Peoples Democratic Party on Thursday said that he has sent a copy of his resignation to the Lok Sabha secretariat.
Karra told that he has sent a hard copy of his resignation to the Lok Sabha Speaker today.
“It is expected to reach him by today afternoon,” said Karra, adding that he has also sent an annexure, detailing the reasons behind his resignation.
On September 15, Karra had announced his resignation from party as well as Lok Sabha citing “naked atrocities committed on people in Kashmir” during the past two-and-a-half months of uprising triggered by the killing of Hizb commander Burhan Wani.
