Ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is holding a Legislative Party meeting on Thursday that will be headed by the J&K chief minister and the party’s president, Mehbooba Mufti at her residence in Gupkar here.
Sources told PTK that the meeting will discuss the prevailing situation created due to the uprising and other party related issues.
The resignation of the one of the PDP’s founder, Tariq Hamid Karra, will also be part of the crucial party discussion.
“The meeting will likely discuss the fallout of the resignation of Tariq Hameed Karra, on the party in the Valley,” a party insider said.
All the party’s legislators and ministers have been called to attend the meeting scheduled on Thursday at Fairview Residence at Gupkar, sources said.
“The functioning of the government and the development works that have been hit in the Valley and in the state due to the prevailing situation will also be discussed,” sources said.
