Anjuman-e- Islamia Bhadarwah in consultation with other Muslim organisations of district Doda has appealed to the people of Chenab Valley to follow the calendar of Hurriyat by observing complete shutdown tomorrow, September 21.
The joint resistance has called for a shutdown tomorrow as a mark of solidarity with the people of Chenab valley and Pir Panjal.
Anjuman-e-Islamia said that the situation in Kashmir is becoming worse with each passing day and that the Union and State governments, instead of taking an initiative, were rubbing salt into the wounds by killing and injuring people at an “alarming pace”.
“We have given a shutdown call after Hurriyat Conference decided to observe 21th September as solidarity day with Chenab Valley and Pir Panjal. We have appealed to observe peaceful bandh and will also protest within the premises of Markazi Jamia Masjid to lodge our resentment,” said President Anjuman-e-islamia Bhadarwah, Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh.
“We have been trying to maintain utmost restraint but some agencies and RSS backed workers are hell bent upon to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere of Chenab Valley and Pir Panjal. Joura incident of damaging Eid Gah is live example of these unscrupulous elements backed by RSS,” he added.
Anjuman-e-Islamia demanded the immediate release of innocent youth of Chenab Valley and Pir Panjal booked under PSA.
