Srinagar International Airport was closed on Tuesday and all the scheduled flights were delayed after a MIG 21 of IAF crash landed.
Sources said that runway was damaged and pilot of the MIG 21 was evacuated.
Sources said that an air force Jet MIG 21 landed ahead of the run way which damaged the runway and panic was created in the airport however, officials said that things were under control.
“Everything is alright now,” they said.
As per sources all flights which were scheduled to take off and land were cancelled in view of the crash landing of MIG 21 and damaging of the runway.
Airport sources said that operation to resume the flights was underway on war footing.
