Jammu and Kashmir Young Mens League Chairman Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi today said despite the restrictions and curbs from all sides, Kashmiri journalists have done a wonderful job by to high light Kashmir issue at global level.
In a statement issued here, Reshi said, “I salute to these journalists by the core of my heart for their honest and genuine hard work for their nation,” he said.
Meanwhile, Reshi said the presence of thousands of people in peaceful protests and demonstrations is itself a referendum and eye opener to the Indian Government.
“Several generations of Kashmiris have suffered tremendous sacrifices for their freedom and this process still continues,” Reshi said.
“The way government has unleashed its force on the people for the past 50 days for breaking the will of the people, striving for their right to self determination, tantamount to committing of grave atrocities with gruesome tactics, oppressive and suppressive measures and has added one of the blackest chapters in Kashmir history,” he said.
