Warpora village on Sopore-Bandipora road that has been witnessing some violent clashes recently, again came out on the roads today to protest ‘police high-handedness’. According to reports, three youth were injured after police fired pellets on scores of protesters, including women. The clashes turned intense with youth throwing stones at the Warpora police post.
People offered Zuhar prayers on the road at various places in North Kashmir. Roads and walls continue to be painted by protesting youth with anti-India and Pro-Freedom graffiti.
