The five Kashmiris, including a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, were admitted to AIIMS on July 23.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday visited the AIIMS here to enquire about the condition of five Kashmiri patients admitted with severe eye injuries from pellet guns, hospital authorities said.
Rahul Gandhi reached All India Institute of Medical Sciences around 4.30 p.m. and was there for half an hour. He enquired about the treatment of the five Kashmiri patients.
“Rahul Gandhi met the patients and inquired about their ongoing eye treatment. He was explained about the condition of the patients by the doctors,” a senior hospital authority told IANS.
The five Kashmiris, including a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, were admitted to AIIMS on July 23.
The five are among the many who have suffered pellet injuries during the protests in the Kashmir Valley, following the death of militant Burhan Wani earlier this month.
