KU postpones all exams; IUST extends admission date upto 29 July

The University of Kashmir has postponed all of its examinations till further orders, officials said.

Vice Chancellor, Prof Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi told that the university has cancelled all examinations till further orders due to the prevailing situation in Kashmir.


Meanwhile IUST has also extended their admission date in wake of the situations prevailing.The Notice is says:

It is notified for information of all the concerned candidates who have been selected in various B.Tech Engineering programmes vide Selection Notification No. 01 of 2016, dated: 7th of July 2016, that the last date for completing the admission formalities is extended upto 29th of July 2016 (Friday).

Moreover, the interested candidates enlisted in the General Waiting List of the above mentioned Selection Notification can now report to the University upto 29th of July 2016 (Friday).

It is further notified that the last date for the eligible candidates to apply Online for Self Financing Category in B.Tech Engineering programmes is also extended upto 29th of July 2016 (Friday). The other terms and conditions shall remain same as notified earlier.
