Lashing out at PDP and BJP Govt for continuous ban on Mobile internet in the Kashmir valley, Congress today blamed the PDP BJP Coalition for being insensitive towards the agony and anguish confronting people especially the students in the valley, who are being forced to appear in the exams in absence of the internet facilities. Congress also expressed serious concern over the losses caused due to internet ban urged the Govt to lift the ban.
In a Statement issued to PTK, Congress spokesperson while expressing serious concern over the continuous ban on internet in the valley stated that the ban on mobile internet has not only inflicted losses to business community, but it has also badly hit the students of the valley, who have not been able to study due to the ban on internet, as a result the majority of the students were reluctant to appear in Exams. He said the ban on internet has caused much inconvenience to students, for the fact the students find it difficult to appear in the exams.
It is ironical that on the one hand Govt is forcing the children to appear in exams and on the other hand it has not been able to restore the mobile internet on which the present generation, whether they are common people or students, depend upon to carry on with their day to day activities. Govt should reconsider the ban and take effective measure to restore the mobile internet in the larger interest of the Students and common people in valley.
PCC Spokesperson urged upon both Centre and State Govt to lift the internet ban enabling the people especially students to carry on with their studies and other education related activities, as that will restore the confidence among the students. (PTK)
