Amost a dozen people mostly teenagers have gone missing after the culmination of militant commander Burhan Wani’s funeral procession.
Parents are concerned and are looking for them in every nook and corner of the Valley.
Reports said that “scores of parents are visiting hospitals with the apprehension that their missing sons might have been admitted in the hospital”.
“My son Musaib Ahmed Bhat went missing on Saturday evening shortly after the culmination of Burhan’s funeral procession. We searched for him everywhere but all in vain,” Zaffar Ahmed Bhat, the father of Musaib of Livergam Sallar Pahalgam told news gathering agency CNS.
Reports said that daily announcements are being made in Eidgah Tral about the missing youth. “My 18 year old son is also missing and we are concerned about him. Unfortunately, the breakdown in telecommunication system has added to our woes as we are unable to contact these missing youth. God knows where they are and why don’t they come back to their houses,” said a father of a missing youth.
