New Delhi: Senior advocate and Additional Solicitor General Rupinder Singh Suri passed away here on Monday, family sources said. Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana, in the open court, condoled the death of Suri, saying “he was a good lawyer and our deepest condolences to Suri’s family”. Suri was in the legal profession for more than four decades. He was enrolled as an advocate in Delhi in 1976. In 1984, he founded the law firm Suri and Company. He had earlier served as the President of the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association.
