SAMBA: The weekly Block Divas meetings were today held at Ghagwal, Samba, and Vijaypur blocks by respective Nodal officers to address the public grievances and provide on spot services to the people.
The public delegations from different Panchayats and individuals apprised the Nodal officers about the problems and demanded regular drinking water, rural roads, coverage of left out families under BPL/APL ration, increasing the ambit of social security schemes and other local issues.
The officials issued 39 domicile certificates, 15 category certificates, 7 revenue extracts, 3 KCC Cards and Sehat Ayushman cards on the spot. On spot registration for aadhar seeding and Scholarship schemes were also carried out.
Similar camps were also organised at sub division Vijaypur and Tehsil Samba. A total of 13 grievances were also disposed during block divas.
The IEC activities under Apni Zameen Apni Nigrani, Panchayat Darpan, beams Empowerment, Har Gaon swach Gao and other activities were also carried out.
