Ganderbal: Thousands of devotees most of them Kashmiri pandiths attend the annual mela at the temple of Mata Ragnya Devi in Tulmullah area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district .On the occasion hundreds of local Muslims were seen greeting there pandith brothers.
The DC Ganderbal Dr Piush singhla, said it has made elaborated arrangements for the annual ‘mela.
SSP Ganderbal Mr Fayaz Lone and SP Traffic rular Kashmir Mr Muzafer Shah said that full proof security arrangements and traffic management has been put on ground for the security and safety of the devotees.
While interacting with the devotees most of them said in emotion that they are happy to be here as here we see the brotherhood ,both Muslims and Hindus jointly have made the arrangements for the devotees.
We are also happy with the district administration ,police and traffic police for the arrangements which they have set up on ground this time.We can say that they all have made best arrangements this year.one of the devotee said,..
Many food/juice/water etc stalls by different departments,Army,police,Muslim NGos,locals etc have been setup inside the premises of the temple.
Outside the temple, local Muslims have set up the stalls to sell everything needed to perform the rituals of the festival.
