Aryans Group of Colleges launches scholarship helpline for engineering aspirants
Srinagar, Apr 08 : Around 10 Lakh students from all across the Country have today appeared in JEE Main exam conducted by central board of secondary education (CBSE) in 248 cities across 36 states and union territories and towns in the Country for admission in engineering colleges, including Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and some other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).
Tamana who has appeared from Handwara while interacting said that the exam was distributed into three sections Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having 30 questions in each section. She said that overall exam was easier than JEE-2017 in every aspects but maths & Physics Section was little tougher. Muzamil from Tangmarg said that Chemistry section is easy but Numerical part in Physics & Maths was difficult.
Meanwhile, Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges has also launched scholarship helpline for engineering aspirants. Students who are willing to pursue their higher education in engineering courses under scholarship can call on Aryans helpline numbers 9876299888 or 9876599888.
Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans College of Engineering while speaking said that despite of hard work, many students couldn’t get seat in IIT’s or in engineering colleges through the counseling and drop their studies either due to non availability of seats or due to lack of resources or financial constraints. Considering this, Aryans has taken this JEE scholarship initiative in which 50% scholarship will be provided by Aryans and rest 50% will be financed in the shape of education loan.
Sidhu further added that 200 students would be selected from all over the Country under this scholarship scheme under merit and means basis and scholarship worth of Rs 3.20 crore would be given by Aryans to the needy and deserving students at Aryans.
It is to be mentioned that thousands of students are already studying in Aryans under various scholarship schemes including Dr. Kiran Bedi Scholarship scheme, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme, Dr. Kalam Memorial Reignited Scholarship Scheme, Late Sh. M.R Kataria Memorial Scholarship, Roshaan Scholarship Scheme etc. (KNS)
