Srinagar 29 March: This year state government of Jammu and Kashmir has take arrangement of the Yatra 2018.and Recently Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra which is also head of Amarnath shrine board reviewed arrangements for the upcoming annual pilgrimage which is schedule to be 28 June this year of both the routes of Phalgam which is in Anantnag district and Baltal which is in Ganderbal district and will be concluded 26 August .Governor was informed that 1,457 pilgrims were registered on the first day and the special registration facility was also being provided for ex-India pilgrims through Punjab National Bank. The group registration facility (minimum 5 persons to maximum 50) is available directly from the shrine board office.
Government of Jammu and Kashmir took all steps to safe the journey.
According to SSB official advance registration has started near about 60000 people have been registered from different states of india and 440 bank branches including PNB ,Yes Bank and JK Bank of registration has started across country which will easy for pilgrims to register themselves
all other yatra-related information.
About security preparation an official from shrine board talking news correspondent that special arrangement of security for yatra 2018 will be CRPF, BSF and Jammu and Kashmir police
For the yatra this year, only those health certificates which have been issued after February 15 shall be valid. Further children under the age of 13 years or persons above the age of 75 years and women who are more than six weeks pregnant will not be registered.
Amarnath Yatra is boost the state tourism sector and has seen a record number of pilgrims visiting the Amarnath shrine years Last year the first 40 days of the Yatra, over 6.2 lakh pilgrims visited the holy cave to boost the state economy as well as generate employment in valley hundreds of horse riders ,Transporters Hoteliers and shopkeepers where thousand of youths earn money and dependent on livelihood.
Before Shrine board when yatries came here on all arrangement was organized by local people Kashmir and Kashmiries has history to respect the guests.locals take langers for yatries and to protect the pilgrims .
