New Delhi, Feb 25: All Kargil Student Association Delhi organizes its 21 Annual Day Function at Shankar Lal Auditorium North Campus Delhi.The theme was Education fortifying the frontiers for a strong India.
On the Occassion Dr Farooq Abdullah (MP LokhSabha )Former Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir,m was the Chief Guest and other distinguished guests including Ven Lama Chosphel Zothpa Former Vice Chairman SC/ST Commission GOI, Syed Abass Rizvee, Hon’ble Councillor LAHDC Kargil, Jenaab Shafi Lassue Former Executive Councilor LAHDC Leh, Jenab Kacho Mahboob Ali Addl.Commissioner IT Dept (Vigilance), Jenab Kacho Ahmad Khan Project Director (KREDA) along with other guest were also present.
Meanwhile on the occasion Dr Farooq Abdullah an eloquent speech in which he stressed the students of Kargil pursuing their studies in Delhi, not to get education just for the sake of degree and job but for spreading the message of humanity, communal harmony, national integrity, for which the people of Ladakh are known for centuries.
He appreciates the Ladakhi Culture and also requested to preserve the Culture and Heritage. He encouraged them to overcome all the hurdles by their sheer determination, perseverance and never to say die attitude.
The event showcased the rich cultural heritage of Kargil. The event was attended by Kargili students studying in Delhi.
He also witness condolence to late Zainab Karbalai who was the daughter of MLA Kargil Alhaj A.A Karbalai & Stanzin Dolma D/o Tsering Angchuk R/o Zanskar.
He also announced 1lakh INR for All Kargil Student Association Delhi (AKSAD ).
The students also submitted a memorandum to Dr Farooq Abdullah and he assured to fulfill their each and every demand.
