Srinagar: A 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan on Wednesday afternoon.
The epicentre of the quake was located 35 kilometres south of Jarm, on Afghanistan-Tajikistan Border Region, at a depth of 191.2 kilometresas, per the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The tremors were felt in Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Eastern Uzbekistan and India.
In India, tremors were felt in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR.
The tremor struck at 12.36 pm Indian Standard Time (IST).
