Md Maqbool State president J&K Co- Ordination committee of Trade Unions (JKCCTU) termed the State Budget presented by the Finance minister today in continuation of the present Neo- liberal economic and anti- working class policies of the Central and State Govt. He while welcoming the announcement of 7th. Pay commission implementation said that the Govt. has not clear its stand on areas due from 1st, Jan. 2016. He also said that while providing the big concessions to the industrialists and Hoteliers, the outsourcing and casualisation and down sizing of Govt. Departments has been continued, the Scheme workers like Angawadi and asha. Mid day meal NRHM workers etc. has been ignored and not provided any relief or enhancement of wages as promised which shows the anti- working class character on this Govt. The new medical insurance scheme is being thrust on the employees in convenience with the Insurance companies to abolish the existing medical reinvestment scheme which is not acceptable to the employees also.
The JKCCTU terms the over all Budget as pro rich and anti Working class which is in continuation with the present Neo- liberal economic policies of the Central and State Govt. We demand that the Govt. Should formulate the effective wage and regularization policy for all temporary workers with the minimum wage as Rs 18000/ PM and release pay commission areas in cash and withdraw obnoxious job policy and ensure implementation of all Labour laws.
