Srinagar, Reports said that Noor Mohammad’s body had been recovered along with that of another militant from the encounter spot in Samboora.
Pampore: In yet another major victory for security forces In Jammu and Kashmir, top Jaish-e-Mohammed leader Noor Mohammad has been killed in a gunfight in the Samboora region.
A massive gunfight was underway in Pulwama on Tuesday, reports said.
Noor Mohammad, the four-feet-tall commander of the terrorist organisation is said to be the mastermind behind the fidayeen attacks carried out by Jaish this year, including the one on police lines in Pulwama where eight security forces were killed.
Reports said that Noor Mohammad’s body had been recovered along with that of another militant from the encounter spot in Samboora.
Sources said that the security forces continued to be engaged in a gunfight in the region in a bid to eliminate a possible third militant.
