Srinagar: Train service was resumed on Wednesday between Srinagar-Banihal after remaining suspended yesterday for security reasons following the killing of three Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militants and an army man in an gunfight in Anantnag district on December 4.
“We resumed the service and all trains will run as per schedule,” a railway official said.
He said first train run started from Budgam-Srinagar to Anantnag-Qazigund and Banihal early this morning.
