Pistol, SLR, 3 hand grenades recovered from their possession
Srinagar, Nov 19: Three militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit were arrested in Budgam district of Central Kashmir.
Acting on a specific input about the movement of militants in Budgam Town, a joint Naka (checkpoint) was established by Budgam police, 53 RR and 43 Bn CRPF at Chadoora-Budgam road.
During the Naka checking, a suspicious vehicle was spotted and when security forces signaled it to stop, one of the militant tried to lob grenade but the alert Security personnel acted swiftly and apprehended him along with two other militants. They were identified as Mohd Maqbool Malla and Gowher Ahmad both from Bandzoo and Azad Ahmad Lone from Lelhar, Kakapora of Pulwama district.
