A 22-year-old youth was killed in a road accident in Handwara tehsil of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday.
Reports said that Haroon Rashid Khan of Kulangam was critically injured after a speeding vehicle hit him near a college in Handwara.
He was rushed to Handwara hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Police has registered a case, said an official.
