Army today paid befitting tributes to its comrade who made the supreme sacrifice during Counter militants operations in Pulwama on 06 Nov 2017 during which three militants were killed. In a solemn ceremony at BB Cantt, Lt Gen JS Sandhu, Corps Commander, Chinar Corps and all ranks paid homage on behalf of a proud nation. In a show of solidarity, officials and representatives from the State Government and other security agencies also joined in paying their last respects.
Late Sep Vrahma Pal Singh sustained bullet injury during the fierce operation at Kandi Aglar in Pulwama District. He was provided immediate first aid and evacuated to 92 BH, but succumbed to the injuries.
Sep Vrahma Pal Singh, 30 years of age, had joined Army in 2004 and hailed from Village Shaujana Rani located in Bulandshahar district of Uttar Pradesh. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a three year old son.
