UN should break silence, OIC should army to Burma: Khan
Employees Joint Action Committee Kashmir headed by President Aijaz Ahmad Khan staged a protest march from Srinagar’s Press Colony to Ghantaghar against the “genocide” of Rohingya Muslims by Myanmar.
Addressing protesters, Khan strongly condemned the brutalities committed against Rohingya Muslims.
“Burma army and Buddhist terrorists are committing brutal acts of rape, killing minors and adult innocents. World community particularly United Nations is silent over the mass genocide,” Khan according to news agency GNS said.
Tens of thousands of people have fled violence in Myanmar’s Rakhine state. Many speak of killings, rape and even massacres.
“Why only Muslims are declared terrorists globally,” he said, adding, “Declare those killing innocent as global terrorist and hang them .”
Khan urged the OIC to call for a special session in order to stop the killings and send army (United Peace keepers) to Burma.
He urged Indian PM Narendra Modi and PM Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina to adopt the Rohingya Muslims as they are feeling to save themselves. (GNS)
