In response to the protest call given by Joint Resistance Leadership against the killing of a civilian in forces’ firing in Kakapora area of Pulwama yesterday, protests followed by the clashes between protesters and clashed erupted in parts of Anantnag of South Kashmir, Haji, Sopore town of north Kashmir, reports said.

The youth pelted stones in return, triggering ding-dong battles between the two sides.
In Hajin, reports said that as soon as congregational Friday prayers culminated youths assembled in main chowk Hajin and held a protest rally. Reports said forces resorted to teargas shelling after youth hurled stones at them near Hajin Chowk, triggering clashes, said a witness.
