JK Against Corruption (JKAC) Baramulla Sunday organized a seminar on the Drug de-addiction in Baramulla.
According to KNS correspondent, Manzoor Sheeri, many renowned personalities including Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Baramulla, Dr. Syed Masood, President Bar Association Baramulla, Advocate Abdul Salam Rather and president Bapwaar Mandal Baramulla, Er Tariq Ahmad Magloo delivered a lecture on Drug de-addiction.
Many of youths from the valley including students of Guru Nanak Dev High School Baramulla participated in the seminar.
In the seminar, many Media persons including Chairman of (BWJA) Karamat Quyoom, President Gulzar Zargar, Publicity secretary of JKAC and member of (BWJA) Baramulla working journalist’s association Manzoor sheeri were also present.
The seminar was organized by District President Baramulla Mohammad Shafi Bhat, Vice President Hafizullah Bhat, District Secretary GR Qazi, Treasurer Shabir Bagwan, Coordinator Ravees Vakil, Publicity Secretary Manzoor Sheeri.
In the seminar, JKAC appealed the general public especially parents to look forward to fighting against drugs and the corruption.
JKAC Kashmir urged people and police to join together to fight against the drugs.
President JKAC Baramulla urged the state government to start awareness programs about the Effect of drugs on humans in the schools, colleges, and universities. (KNS)
