‘Killers, their abettors will have to answer for their crimes’
Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik on Monday said that trigger happy Indian forces fire to kill and their agents in democratic garbs rush to justify these gruesome killings.
“Killers and their abettors will have to face law of retribution and will have to account for their crimes,” Malik said in a statement while condemning the spree of killings at Frisal Yaripora yesterday.
While paying tributes to slain civilians of Frisal, JKLF chairman said, “Gruesome killings of civilians by Indian forces and firing on unarmed civilians injuring dozens of common people is glaring example of terrorist behavior of Indian forces and police.”
He said, “Firing without a warning is a known crime in civilized world but uncivilized Indian forces know no such norms and procedures and fire only to kill, blind or injure.”
Terming the recent assertions of police authorities about possibility of deterioration in situation as ‘bizarre and part of conspiracy’, JKLF chief said, “On one hand intimidation and threats are given about the possible worsening of the situation and on the other hand more and more innocents are being brutalized by police and forces on daily basis.”
While paying homage to the slain militants and civilians identified as Mudasir Ahmad Tantray alias Asim of Redwani Bala area in Qaimoh; Wakeel Ahmad Thokar of Harigam Kulgam; Farooq Ahmad Bhat of Chak Dasand and Muhammad Younus Lone of Hawoora-Mishpora and two civilians Aashiq Ahmad Reshi, and Mushtaq Ahmad Itoo, JKLF chairman said, “From many years now Kashmiris are at the receiving end of Indian bullets and are being brutalized and oppressed but no one among the human community seems to bother.”
He said, “The mayhem created by Indian forces in Frisal yesterday is the real face of Indian army, police and forces and their “bravery” has touched new heights by making civilians as human shield and killing and injuring civilians by bullets and pellets.”
He said, “Immediately after trigger happy forces kill innocent people, their friends in democratic robes come alive with excuses and justifications for their crimes against humanity.”
JKLF chairman said that the blood that is being spilled on the face of this land will never go waste and time is not far when killers and their abettors be it rulers, assembly members or any others will have to answer for their crimes according to the law of retribution.
While condemning the detention of a 14 year old minor in police station sadder Islamabad namely Nihal Mukhtar Khan, JKLF chairman said, “On one hand we are here sermons about juvenile justice and on the other hand we see young kids being terrorized in police stations by police.”
Malik said these acts are clearing the fact that Jammu Kashmir is a police state run by the commands and whims of police authorities who have no respect for human rights, human dignity or democracy.
Meanwhile, JKLF chairman expressed his heartfelt grief over the sad demise of Wali Muhammad Baigh who was the father of senior activist Ishfaq Ahmad Baigh of Nasrullahpora Budgam.
