Appeals State Govt to redress their long pending demands
Accusing the State Govt and Concerned Authorities for showing non seriousness towards their genuine and long pending issues, scores of Govt Employee Union under the banner of JK Low Paid Employees Federation (JKLPEF) Doda held a strong protest demonstration at Old Bus Doda here today.
The protest was led by LPEF President Niaz Ahmed Rahi and was jointly participated by Casual Labours of PWD (R&B) Doda, Daily Wagers of PDD, RET Teachers, Clerical Staff, Anganwadi Workers and Safai Karamcharis of Municipal Committee Doda who raised their issues and urged upon the State Govt to concede them at an earliest.
Speaking on the occasion, President LPEF Niaz Ahmed Rahi lambast the State Govt for ignoring all the Govt Employees particularly low paid employees added that from the last one year wages have not been paid to Daily Wagers and other employees due to which they are now at the stage of starvation.
Meanwhile the President LPEF raised other issues which includes immediate release of DA installment which is due from July 2016, enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month, release of salaries of all need based and daily wagers, implementation of 7th pay commission and pay anomalies of clerical staff.
