They said a joint team of police and SOG personnel initially raided the village at 1 am.
“They used sound grenades to make fear among people so that they could arrest youth but people came out of their houses from every corner resulted in intense clashes,” sources said adding forces left the spot without any arrests and people chased them upto the highway.
Forces again entered the village at 3am from Raipora side local sources said, however angry people again came out of their homes and started resisting by pelting stones and rocks.
“Again police used sound shells, teargas and pepper gas,” they said.
