Delhi based Journalists regarding their telephonic conversation with Malik
Jammu Kashmir has been turned into a police state where police and forces are terrorizing and oppressing people with impunity. Assaulting and arresting a peaceful political leader like Mir Hafizullah that too in camouflage of revolutionaries only shows the criminal mindset of rulers and their police. This act has also exposed the faces that are behind numerous inhuman, uncivilized and anti-people deeds meant to defame resistance and freedom movement.
Yasin Malik while condemning the arrest of Mir Hafizullah of Tehtreek I Hurriyat in Islamabad Kashmir. Terming the assault on Mir Hafizullah and booking him under PSA as trampling of all democratic norms, JKLF chairman said that the way police and forces raided and arrested a peaceful political leader like Mir Hafizullah in the disguise of rebels has proved the fact that these forces can cross any limit to crush peaceful voice of Kashmiris .Why can’t forces and personal that can camouflage themselves for arresting a political leader like this, be behind those numerous inhuman, disreputable, anti-people deeds that are being committed in the name of unknown persons to defame resistance and freedom movement, asked JKLF chairman.
He said that after killing about one hundred innocents, injuring twenty thousand, snatching eye sights of hundreds, vandalizing properties worth millions and arresting more than ten thousand youth , elderly and children ,police and forces have resorted to another worst kind of state sponsored terrorism that is highly condemnable.
Yasin Malik also condemned the prolonged incarceration of JKLF leaders and activists including ailing JKLF vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal (Kotbalwal jail), ailing zonal senior vice president Muhammad Yasin Butt, zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, District president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya) , JKLF activists Fayaz Ahmad Mir of Ganderbal , Shabir Ahmad Ganaie of Kakapora Pulwama, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir of Kupwara, Assadullah Sheikh of Kulgam, Molvi Reyaz of Sopore, Muhammad Ishaaq Malik Kokernagh, sahib khan Trehgam, Ghulam Mohi Ud Din Kunanposhpora and thousands of other innocents , youth and students are languishing in jails and police stations.
Meanwhile a spokesman of JKLF has clarified the statement issued by a team of Delhi based journalists including Seema Mustafa Sahiba and Prem Shankar Jha Jee, in which they had claimed to have talked to JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik on phone. JKLF spokesman said that the said team had in fact called Yasin sahib for holding a meeting which JKLF chairman refused humbly. If these journalists have taken this ‘refusal to talk’ as some kind of meeting or deliberation what can one say, said JKLF spokesman. (PTK)
