Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Saturday has demanded to set up examination centre in Kashmir for National Eligibility cum Entrance test (NEET).
Urging concerned authorities to establish centre in Kashmir President DAK Dr Nisar ul Hassan in a statement said this would bring relief to thousands of aspirants who are appearing for various postgraduate medical courses.
NEET is a single window entrance examination for various MD/MS and Diploma courses and it has replaced all state level tests.
The test for the academic session 2017 will be held across the country from December 5th-13th, 2016.
This online examination will be conducted by the National Board of Examination that has provided 86 test centres at 41 cities.
With no centre in Kashmir, the aspirations of doctors in the valley are under the threat of going down the drain.
