Panic gripped the central Kashmir’s Nagam village in Budgam district on Tuesday as government forces resorted to teargas shelling against pro-freedom ralliests.
Reports said that forces foiled a proposed march Nagam village by using force.
People tried to assemble in the village for a rally on the call of separatist leadership however forces swung into action and resorted to tear smoke shelling against them.
Earlier, all entry and exit points of sealed, locals said adding curfew like restrictions were in place and army was deployed in the whole area.
