Two herbal medicine traders from Jammu and Kashmir and two businessmen from Sri Lanka were detained by police on Wednesday night following a tip-off in Surat.
They were questioned till early Thursday morning. However, nothing suspicious was found from them, reports quoting police officials said.
As per reports initially police received information about the two J&K residents that they were seen doing suspicious movement in the city. Five different teams of city police started search for them during which the two Sri Lanka nationals were detained since they had similar looks.
Meanwhile, search for the two J&K residents continued till late evening and they were nabbed from Surat railway station, reports said.
