Thousands of people on Saturday attended the last rites of a youth who died of pellet injuries in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Around ten thousand people participated in the funeral prayers of Muzaffar Pandit at his native Check-e-Kawoosa village near the Srinagar-Gulmarg highway.
Pandit had sustained pellet injuries on September 14. He was shifted to Sub-district hospital Magam after his condition deteriorated at his home last night. From Magam, Pandit was referred to JVC Bemina and then to SKIMS Soura where he breathed his last at around 1 pm today.
