Curfew was imposed in Khag village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday to foil a march called by the resistance leadership.
Contingents of army, police and CRPF have been deployed in the area to foil the proposed “Khag chalo’.
All the entry points of the area have been sealed by the forces.
A police official said that restrictions have been imposed to maintain law and order in the wake of the call by the separatists.
Mean While Curfew-like restrictions were imposed in Wakura area of Ganderbal in central Kashmir on Wednesday to prevent a march called by resistance leadership.
The leadership had asked people of Ganderbal to march towards Wakura today.
However, forces deployed in strength in the area imposed restrictions to curtail the movement of people.
Clashes had erupted in the area last evening following the arrests of four youths.
