Noted incarcerated human rights activist, Khurram Parvez was Wednesday shifted to Kothi Bagh Police Station Srinagar after being released from Kupwara on court orders and subsequently re-arrested by J&K Police.
Earlier, Principal Sessions Judge Srinagar on Tuesday ordered Kurram’s release.
Khurram was arrested last week by Srinagar police. He was later shifted to Kupwara Jail as police had sought ten days remand.
Sources said that a police party drove Khurram to Srinagar around 3:30 AM and lodged him in Police Station Kothi Bagh Srinagar.
