‘Save Kashmiri Children’ global campaign, was today launched at European Press Club Brussels, on the pretext of current phase of protests demanding freedom from India and super headed mostly by the young and children.
Noted legal experts from Kashmir delivered telephonic address during this launch of ‘Save Kashmiri Children’ event. A Belgium political party also participated the event and supported the campaign of “Save Kashmiri Children”.
Human Rights experts working on the rights and protection of children in Kashmir estimate that the 50 percent of victims in ongoing phase of bloodshed are the children and teenagers. Observers believe that India is violating the International treaties and also the State Govt too violate the State laws that guarantee to protect the children even in armed conflict.
Editor Kashmir Watch and Director Kashmir.Foundation EU Abdul Latif Bhat launched this campaign under the banner #SaveKashmiriChildren aiming to generate a worldwide response on social media.
During his briefing Bhat said that India is violating the under signed international treaties by killing and maiming the unarmed civilians in Kashmir and said that during the current phase of unrest and protests majority of these victims are young children and minors which need the urgent attention of Save Children campaigners and defenders worldwide.

#SaveKashmiriChildren campaign calls on to the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict, Leila Zerrougui to take serious notice for violating the UNCRC treaty which India had ratified agreeing in principles the articles on Child Protection.
#SaveKashmiriChildren campaign also calls on leading European Institutions prominently European Commission, European Union and European Parliament to listen the cries of Kashmiri Children who are being pushed into a dark future.
#SaveKashmiriChildren campaigners also appeal to global NGOs working for the rights and protection of children to break their silence and come forward to adopt the victimized Kashmir children and join this campaign to so that India forces can be stopped to kill and maim the traumatized generation.
